Satya, played by J.D Chakravathy, comes to Mumbai in search of a decent job. After a lot of struggle he eventually finds a job at a dance bar as a server. One night things go horribly wrong when a criminal called Jagga, comes to the bar and orders a drink. After Satya serves him, Jagga throws the drink at Satya’s face because he didn’t like the taste. In a fit of rage Satya cuts up his face with a razor. He is then arrested and Bhiku Mahtre is in the same prison. One day the two have a fight and Satya doesn’t give up. Bhiku is impressed with Satya’s courage and arranges for his release. Kallu Mama, another criminal gives Satya a flat, where his neighbor is Vidya, played by Urmila Matondkar.  He is attracted to her and they both soon become friends and fall in love.

 

Satya soon enters the Mumbai underworld with the help of Mahtre and one day takes his revenge of Jagga by shooting him. Soon he becomes a dreaded criminal. He however hides this fact from Vidya in the fear of losing her. He undertakes many assassinations and crimes. Soon a deadly war wages between the other mafia gangs and Satya’s gang. Vidya by now comes to know the truth and is horrified. She locks up her door and refuses to open up when Satya knocks. He is then killed in an encounter by the police.

 

The movie is directed and produced by Ramgopal Verma. The music is composed by Vishal and the lyrics are written by Vishal. The star cast includes J D Chakravorty, Saurabh Shukla, Manoj Vajpai, Urmila Matondkar, Makrand Deshpande,Govind Namdev,Paresh Rawal,Raju Mavani,Sanjay Mishra and Shefali Chaya. The cinematography is by Mazhar Kamran.
