Sridevi Bungalow

Sridevi Bungalow is one of the upcoming movies of the biographical-drama genre. This new film’s story has a narrative centring around the mysterious and ultimately tragic life of a thriving Bollywood actress named ‘Sridevi,’ who experiences a profound sense of loneliness despite appearing to attain commercial success. 

As she reaches the apex of her fame, she escapes to an extravagant bungalow she rents in London to receive ‘refuge’ from her fame. Her stay and initial impression of the massive house seemed euphoric- a space filled with glamour, a misplaced sense of security, and a distance. 

Then, she experiences strange happenings; lights flicker, sounds cease or appear in empty rooms, and whatever semblance of a safe niche she found in the house snatches one of her arms and drags her off a cliff as it slowly pulls her from dark space into a dripping lake where her faint screams will not be heard. 

At the same point, she began to disintegrate, drifting further from her friends and family into an ever-growing paranoia towards the old house. The wind jangling was no longer a false lullaby to her present nerves, but rather a hollow reflecting that repeated caution, isolation, and solitude inti dread. Sridevi was questioning reality too, spiralled to accumulate almost unbearable trauma of arguably loss, trauma of massive notoriety, and the unmistakable plans of loss, especially affecting loved ones. This is one of the upcoming movie releases that has depicted the harsh realities of the life of Sridevi.
