After Sridevi Bungalow, online sensation Priya Prakash Varrier has wrapped up another Bollywood project. The ‘winking sensation’ will be seen next in debutant director Mayank Prakash Srivastava’s Hindi film titled Love Hackers. The film has been shot extensively in India and Russia. Talking about the film, the director said, “Love Hackers presents the dark web and various pitfalls online, which try to trap teenage girls. There are many cases of young women who have faced trouble online from such avenues and have even disappeared from their cities in the recent past. That’s what this film is based on.”

On why Mayank chose Malayali actress Priya to play this part, he clarified, “She is someone who has experienced stardom through cyberspace and she also understands the platform well. The lead character, played by her, is from Lucknow, and though she is a Malayali, she handled the role of a North Indian girl with ease. As an artiste who has been doing films in different industries, I think she has a flair for languages and that was evident when we worked on the film.” Love Hackers also stars Pavan Malhotra, Brijendra Kala and Siddharth Mahajan, among others.
