Aayush Sharma Walks Out Of Salman Khan's Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Role Not Meaty Enough

After his fabulous performance in Mahesh Manjrekar’s Antim, Aayush Sharma has been basking in the glory of praises. His role showed him in a different light, one that is almost career defining for the actor. When he was offered the Salman Khan starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, there was not a shred of doubt in his mind to play the part of the Kick actor’s brother. But post Antim, things have dramatically changed for the LoveYatri actor and he feels character roles will no longer be beneficial to his career. He would want a meatier role or to play the lead. Thus Sharma will now no longer be a part of the Farhad Samji directorial.
Salman Khan agrees with Sharma’s decision and feels his role in KEKD is not significant enough. Apart from Khan the film also stars Neha Hegde, Zaheer Iqbal and South superstar Venkatesh. A top southern actress is being considered to play Venky’s love interest. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala who last collaborated with Salman in the Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Kick.
