The filmmaker Abhinay Deo, who has helmed various films such as ‘Blackmail’ and ‘Delhi Belly.’ The director has opened up about his journey in the film industry as well as working with some of the well-known names of the Bollywood industry.

Abhinay Deo’s Fortunate Experience

 In a formal conversation with ANI, the director shared his journey as a filmmaker. He said, 'I consider myself quite fortunate that I got a place in the industry. Because I am an architect who, you know, accidentally came into this industry. But I got a chance to make so many films. And I got a chance to make so many films, as well as advertising films. That is a very big thing for me. So, I consider my journey as God’s gift.

While the filmmaker credited his parents for being his support system. ‘It was my parents’ gift to me that I managed to do so much work. I really am extremely, extremely grateful to the audiences as well as the industry for making my films a major success. So, I can only have the most humble gratitude. There was such a quiet environment at my residence that my parents never treated us in such a way that we should do this or we should not do that. They always kept one thing with us that whatever you want to do, you do it. But you must maintain the morality of your profession or job. The decorum must be maintained thoroughly. So, I think that this is the biggest support that a person is allowed to do what they want in their life.

Meanwhile, Abhinay Deo has recently directed the film ‘Savi.’ Its star cast includes Anil Kapoor, Harshvardhan Rane and Divya Khosla in key roles.
