The speculation immediately arose among her fans and media when they spotted the actress wearing the traditional green bangles and a mangalsutra. If she is secretly married and who the lucky man was in question. On Friday Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram to clarify and also asked why is it a big deal even if she was wearing one !! 

Kangana Ranaut, however, responded to rumors about her secret marriage.

Is Kangana Ranaut secretly married? 

The actor was spotted wearing a mangalsutra and green bangles, the signs of a newly married bride or a married woman. Posting a reply to the rumors or the speculation, the actor politician explained that it was the look for her upcoming film. She claimed she had to receive numerous calls to clarify and wondered why was it such a big deal? 

She wrote, she was filming in and around the city every single day and someone has clicked random pictures of her dressed in a pink salwar suit, wearing the mangalsutra and green bangle. She was spotted leaving the building and heading towards her car. that went viral and that it was the character that she was playing that needed her to wear them.  She also clarified that as an actor they play all kinds or roles and if she was getting married in her real life, she wouldn’t do it secretly and that’s a promise said Kangana. 

Kangana revealed she was shooting outdoors in the heatwave and asked the news anchors to stop complaining. instead of complaining about the heat she said what about the actors and the crew who are filming outdoor shoots with loads of added lighting in enclosed spaces and to stop complaining guys was her response to the news anchors.

Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming films after 20 years in the film industry. 

Kangana Ranaut completed 20 years in the film industry and had debuted in Gangster in 2006. She was last seen in the film Emergency in 2025 which also had marked her solo directorial debut after her film Manikarnika in 2019. She shared the credit with Krish Jagarlamudi.

Kangana Ranaut is now gearing up for a political drama titled, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata that is in the pipeline. Based on the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, the film is directed by Manoj Tapadia and it takes place inside a hospital. Besides Kangana, the other actors are Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrutha Namdev, Esha Dey, Priya Berde, Asha Shelar, Suhita Thatte, Rasika Agashe, Zahid Khan and Aditya Mishra who will also star in the film slated for its release on June 12th 2026.

The actor politician Kangana is soon to make her international debut as well in the supernatural horror film, ‘Blessed Be the Evil’. The film will be release in 2027.
