Sara Arjun addressed the debate around her casting opposite Ranveer Singh in Dhurandhar, stating that the age gap between them justified. The two being cast as the lead pair in Dhurandhar had sent a flurry of reactions on the social media largely based on their 20-year age difference . Sara said while she respects the different views, she pointed out that she respects it and said everyone is entitled for his or her own opinion.

Sara Arjun made her debut with Ranveer Singh in Dhurandhar. She is 20 years younger than Ranveer Singh and that has been a debate going on . The young actress defended the casting saying within the age gap was justified with the context of the story.
Sara Arjun said before the film release, Sara was completely disconnected from the social media ,hence she was not aware of the online debate going on over the age difference. The actress added that staying away from social media platforms helps her to shut her from the surrounding noise and stay focused on her work. She said she believes, ‘ Live and Let Live’ and it’s the opinion of others so be it and she has justified her role in the film and is happy she was a part of such a blockbuster .
In the film Sara Chakrabarty’s role was of a teenager while Ranveer Singh was that of a middle aged.
