Sara Arjun

Sara started her career in commercial ads in Clinic Plus and did a short Hindi film at the age of six. In 2010 she was signed to portray at the age of six for a father who was mentally challenged as an adult. The film had received lot of critical and commercial acclaim with Sara Arjun’s performance receiving lot of appreciation and praises at the tender age that she was.

She has worked in many films, mainly Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. She particularly got garnered with positive reviews for her role in Vijay’s Saivam in 2014 and in 2025 she starred in the very famous blockbuster Hindi Spy thriller Dhurandhar alongside Ranveer Singh and many other top actors like R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna.

Sara Arjun was just one and half years old when she shot her first commercial in McDonald’s.  She was spotted at a mall with her parents and thereafter she appeared in brands like Shampoo Ad of Clinic Plus. Sara did a few more commercials for Vijay when she was two years old but later had lost touch.

Sara was later cast in drama film Deiva Thirumangal following her visit to Mumbai. Sara’s parents helped her to get trained in Tamil dialogues and got assistance from a Tamil friend Maheshwari to get her trained in the dialect of Tamil language. She got so good she even learned Vikram’s dialogues in the film and would try to help him during the shoots. Sara Arjun’s performance as Nila stole the show as Vikram’s daughter in the film. A down to earth who after her shoot would return to the hotel room and ask for her drawing kit !! During the period she also acted in ‘Tomorrow’ directed by Amjad Khan in which her father also starred but the film did not get a theatrical release.

Sara Arjun has worked in Ek Thi Daayan released in 2013, a supernatural Hindi film by Kannan Iyer and produced by Ekta Kapoor in which she portrayed as the role of Misha, the little sister of the lead character in the film. She then featured in the lead role in Chithirayil Nilachoru directed by R. Sundarrajan. She had worked in a family drama Saivam for which she won rave reviews for her performance as the young girl Thamizhselvi.

Sara Arjun has become a celebrity a famous actress as Yalina Jamali. She essayed the female lead opposite superstar Ranveer Singh in the 2025 action spy thriller Dhurandhar directed by Aditya Dhar. She plays a headstrong character in the film and in the 2026 Dhurandhar part 2, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, she has reprised her pivotal role in the high-octane spy thriller sequel released in March 2026.

As a child artist in ad films and regional films like Deiva, Thirumangal and Ponniyin Selvan, the young actress has come a long way and marks a debut as a leading actress in Hindi film Dhurandhar.

Sara Arjun marked her transition from a child model to child artist to become the leading lady in one of the most sought after doing its box office run, Dhurandhar. She is the new face of the Bollywood film industry receiving attention and garnering praises for her performance displaying maturity and confidence.
