Dhurandhar: Revenge Part 2 is the quick-release sequel to the action-thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar. It stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna. The producers surprised audiences by announcing the Part 2 release date immediately after the first movie’s premiere, confirming that both films were shot together to ensure a swift continuation of the high-stakes narrative.

In the first part, it was revealed that Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza was secretly Jaskirat Rangi, an Indian spy. The second part is about Jaskirat going after his next target, Major Iqbal, a deadly ISI agent and terrorist mastermind. However, the sequel also has the aspect of Jaskirat's mission as it shows through flashbacks that he was once a young boy who, through the terrible, personal sacrifices he made, had been turned into the ruthless and thus, a spy that required.

The movie also presents small but realistic elements, for instance, a character's appearance was said to have drawn similarities to a deceased Pakistani politician. It is the supporting cast that takes the lead this time, with R. Madhavan (IB Director Ajay Sanyal) and Sanjay Dutt (SP Chaudhary Aslam) assuming greatly expanded roles. The complete operation is the new theme as the Indian intelligence unit is getting ready for a gigantic clash with the Pakistani terror network.
