“Sillu Karuppatti" is a 2019 Tamil anthology film, directed by Halitha Shameem, and it revolves around the romantic genre. The main cast of this movie includes Samuthirakani, Sunainaa, K. Manikandan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Kravmaga Sreeram, Leela Samson, Sara Arjun, and Rahul in the main casts. Sillu Karuppatti is a collection of four romantic stories about four age ranges. It's a must-see film showcasing love among varied ages and communities.

There are four lovely tales in this film:

Pink Bag:
A teenage ragpicker, "Maanja" (Rahul), discovers a picture of Mity, a wealthy girl, in trash and covertly becomes enamored. He begins picking up items from her garbage; a Walkman with her tune and a valuable ring. Can he bridge his social divide and return these to her? Will she notice his sentiments?

Kakka Kadi:
"Madhu" (Nivedhithaa Sathish) and "Mugilan" (K. Manikandan) are best friends who travel by cab as a matter of routine and ultimately fall in love. But their love tale gets tragic when Mugilan is detected with scrotal cancer. In spite of that, Madhu remains with him and shows that love is all about acceptance and courage.

Turtles:
"Navaneethan" (Kravmaga Sreeram), a widower with no friends, meets "Yashoda" (Leela Samson) at a park and has a spark. They see each other at a hospital for a follow-up visit and gradually open their hearts about the past. On taking a turtle walk, uncertainty creeps in; does love know age?

Hey Ammu:
"Dhanapal" (Samuthirakani) and "Amudhini" (Sunaina) have been married for 12 years, but the love has dwindled. Though he is a good father, he ignores the emotional needs of his wife. When she complains, he downplays her issues. In a bid to atone, he buys her a virtual assistant, but can love and attention be substituted by technology?

"Sillu Karuppatti" is one of the few films that depicts love, loss, and second chances in such a gorgeous manner. This sweet film is currently streaming on Netflix and should be watched by every movie enthusiast.
