Filmmaker Aditya Dhar has issued a strong warning against the AI manipulated visuals of his film Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the part 2 , the movie which was released in theatres worldwide on March 19th 2026. The action thriller starring Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal and Sanjay Dutt starrer. 

While Aditya Dhar expressed his heartfelt gratitude for receiving global love and response to his Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar : The Revenge, he had a serious concern about the fake content being circulating and misrepresenting the film. The director had highlighted the viral image that falsely shows as the character of Hamza/ Jaskirat smoking while he wears a turban, which firmly goes against the respect to the Sikh community.   

Aditya Dhar urges the audience to stay vigilant. 

Aditya Dhar further stated that the image is fabricated and not a part of his officially released material. He emphasized his deep respect for the Sikh community and that he as a director of a film will ensure that every portrayal in the film is handled with great sensitivity, dignity and his responsibility. 

He has urged the audience to stay vigilant and not to rely on any content unless its verified. Unfortunately, AI-generated images and information with its hidden agenda is unethical and such actions will be dealt with very strictly. 

Aditya Dhar’s statement comes across with the growing concerns in the film industry over the misuse of artificial intelligence to manipulate and distorts true narratives. He stated it sends out a strong message about authenticity and accountability.
