After making a promising debut with Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday is all set to surprise the audience in his second feature film. Ahaan will step into the shoes of a gangster in the upcoming film that is about romance and high-octane action film helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. 


For the role in the upcoming film, Ahaan Panday has undergone an intense physical training to prepare for a gritty character. His preparation includes hand to hand combat sessions and weapon training. His character indicates that they will showcase him as a raw, aggressive and action hero. 


It is not exactly a shift as he was not a conventional romantic hero even in his first film Saiyaara and in his second film it will only highlight further a romantic hero who will explore more layered role within.


Makers are keeping the storyline tightly under wraps while other star cast will join in.


Seasoned actor Jimmy Shirgill is also on board in a pivotal role, while the makers have kept this project under wraps. The fans are intrigued as the film also marks Jimmy’s long-awaited reunion with Yash Raj Films after more than two decades. His most memorable collaboration with YRF was in the iconic film Mohabbatein where he shared the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. 

The film is being described as high energy action film that blends with an intense love story with violent and crime driven backdrop.  

This combination is common with the current trend of films being made where romance and action are coupled together. With a casting as dynamic as Ahaan Panday it is expected to further add to the gripping cinematic experience. 


The filming is already in progress with the shooting that commenced on April 3rd 2026. The production will continue throughout the month before the crew and cast move to London for the next leg of shooting scheduled in the month of May 2026. If everything goes well as the makers have planned, the filming should be complete by July and targeting its release by first quarter of 2027. 


With a powerful genre shift, a strong supporting star, the film is on an ambitious scale which will define the rising career of Ahaan Panday.
