Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi Come Together First Time For Raj Mehta’s ‘Selfiee’

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar was one of the busiest actors through 2020 and 2021. Come 2022 and there is still no stopping him! He is on a film signing and announcing spree. The Bell Bottom actor has shared a unique promo video announcing his next titled ‘Selfiee’. He captioned the video shared on his social media page, “Presenting Selfiee, a journey that will drive you towards loads of entertainment, laughter & emotions. Shooting begins soon!” His partner in crime this time is Chehre actor Emraan Hashmi bringing the two together in a film for the very first time. 

 

Selfiee is directed by Raj Mehta who has worked with Akshay Kumar previously in the Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Good Newwz. The upcoming film is produced by Karan Johar and co- produced by Malayalam actor, Prithviraj Sukumaran under his production house Prithviraj Productions. Earlier the Sooryavanshi actor has shared a cool picture with Emraan where they both are seen on their bikes in the middle of an empty road. He captioned it, “Found myself the perfect Selfiee partner! Hey Karan Johar, have we slayed this selfie game or what?” To which Johar replied, “No two others can slay it like you both Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. Stay tuned, something big is coming up!” 

 

Emraan and Kumar had also shared their individual pictures taking a selfie with their mobile phones. Apart from this film, Akshay will also be seen in Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, Gorkha and Bachchan Pandey among others. While Emraan will be seen in the Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3.
