Alia Bhatt approached for Sudha Murthy’s biopic

Director Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, known for her content oriented films like Bareilly Ki Barfi, is soon about begin shooting for a biopic. Although the filmmaker was scouting for a deserving biopic, she has now zeroed in on the humble and generous personality of Sudha Murthy, the wife of Narayana Murthy. According to sources, actress Alia Bhatt has been approached to play her role and the film will be titled ‘Murthy’. Although the Kalank actress is yet to give her nod, we are waiting with baited breaths for the same.

 

Ashwini Iyer Tiwari shared a picture with the teacher and author Sudha Murthy on her social media account. The filmmaker has already begun working on the script and will be co-producing the film with husband Nitesh Tiwari and Mahaveer Jain. Her next will be the Kangana Ranaut starrer sports drama Panga. Alia Bhatt has many releases lined up next year including Takht, Sadak 2, Brahmastra and RRR.
