The movie Bareilly Ki Barfi is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, produced by Vineet Jain/ Renu Ravi Chopra, Starring Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, Raj Kumar Rao. Released on the 18th August 2017.
It is a romantic comedy based on the French novel’ The Ingredients of Love’ and is set in a small town of Bareilly. Bitti (Kriti Sanon) is happy go lucky girl who refuses to get married as she has a few thoughts of the man she has in her dreams. Bitti leaves her home and boards a train and while on the platform she sees a bookstall where she picks up a book titled ’Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and gets engrossed in it and wants to meet the author so goes back in search of him. Bitti is directed to the printing press and meets Chirag (Ayushmann Khurrana) who is the actual author but says it is Pritam Vidrohi(Rajkumar Rao) thinking of the repercussions he leaves the city . In the end Chirag & Bitti get together.
