Kriti Sanon to play Ranjeeta’s role in Satte Pe Satta remake

After making an impact with her choice of films and impressive performances in films like Luka Chuppi, Raabta, Dilwale and Bareilly Ki Barfi, actress Kriti Sanon is all set to have another huge line up of movies next year. While her Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 is one day short of releasing, she has been reportedly approached to play actress Ranjeeta’s role in the 1982 hit Satte Pe Satta remake by Farah Khan. The veteran actress played a disabled, wheelchair bound girl in the film.

 

Filmmaker Farah Khan has promised she will be making an official announcement about the film on the auspicious occasion on Diwali. Also there are rumors that Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma have been approached to play the roles of Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini, respectively. Kriti Sanon will also be seen in Laxman Utekar’s Mimi, which is a remake of a popular Marathi film.
