Luka Chuppi is a fun romantic comedy film. Laxman Utekar directed this popular movie. Dinesh Vijan's company produced the film. It stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The story is about a young couple in Mathura. They try to live together secretly.
The main character is Guddu. He works as a television reporter in Mathura. He meets Rashmi, who is an intern at his station. Rashmi is a modern and very strong-willed woman. They fall quickly in love. They decide to try a live-in relationship first. This means they live together before marriage. They keep this decision a huge secret.
They go to another city for a short time. They pretend to be married there. Trouble starts when they return to Mathura. Their traditional and large families find out the secret. The families assume the couple is already married. This causes instant, massive chaos. Guddu and Rashmi must now pretend to be husband and wife. They try hard to hide the truth from everyone. Their fake marriage turns into a very funny mess.
This film explores the modern view of relationships. It contrasts this with traditional family values. The movie shows the humour in hiding the truth. It gives a lighthearted look at social issues. Audiences should watch this for the great chemistry of the leads. It is a light, fast-moving comedy perfect for a good laugh.
