Ananya Panday joins Shakun Batra’s next

While last week there was an exciting announcement that Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi will be seen in a leading role in Shakun Bhatra’s next, there is now news that Pati Patni Aur Woh star Ananya Panday has joined the cast as well. The story of the movie reportedly revolves around two couples who are going through issues with their married life. The yet to be titled film will be produced by Student of the Year 2 producer Karan Johar.

 

Since one of the main couples in the film will be Deepika and Siddhant, the makers are now scouting for a lead opposite Ananya as the second couple. The film will be shot extensively on Indian shores and will be launched soon. Director Shakun Batra and Karan Johar have previously collaborated on Kapoor And Sons starring Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. Ananya Panday will next be seen opposite Ishaan Khatter in Khaali Peeli while Deepika is gearing up for the release of her Meghna Gulzar drama Chhapaak.
