Anushka Sharma to play a teacher in Satte Pe Satta remake

The most awaited remake by Farah Khan has been creating a ripple ever since it was announced. The film is a 1982 remake of Satte Pe Satta, that starred Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in the lead. Their role will be played by Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma respectively. The Zero actress will reportedly be portraying the role of a glamorous school teacher. There are also reports that actress Ranjeeta’s role will be played by Preity Zinta.

Anushka Sharma’s character as a teacher will be similar to Sushmita Sen’s from Main Hoon Na, but instead of saris, the Sultan actress will be seen in short dresses and skirts. The yet to be titled film will be directed by Farah Khan and produced by Rohit Shetty. It will hit the big screens in 2020.
