Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 reaches its third week with 23 crore, bank rolled by JP Films and T.Series films, Border 2 is set to enter a new record of Rs. 300 crore in the fourth week while it faces a stiff competition with Shahid Kapoor’s O Romeo and Adarsh Gourav’s Tu Yaa Main.   


Sunny Deol’s Border 2 is expected to continue to gain the momentum before it heads to the 300 to 310 crore in India. 


Border 2 a blockbuster or a superhit ?


Border 2 shows a potential of becoming a blockbuster but the film has recorded on an ordinary trend on week days with its limited box office runs.  However, it has done better in the Northern circuits , wherein Rajasthan is said to have been close to blockbuster than Delhi or UP and East Punjab has.  The underperformance comes in central India such as Gujarat, CPCL which wasn’t expected in a much-awaited Sunny Deol film but that’s the fact. 


Border 2 is still considered as one of the films that emerged as 2026 biggest success as of now . It is also one of the second biggest grosser for Sunny Deol in his career path for his best performance.
