The sessions court has issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against the veteran and popular filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma in the context of a cheque bounce case as his plea got rejected.
Previously, a company had lodged a complaint regarding the 'bounced cheque' against his business venture. Advocate Rajesh Kumar Patel, who represented the complainant, filed an affidavit in the magistrate court which stated that the venture was highly involved in buying and selling of various hard disks for several years.
The affidavit stated the valuable information about the hard disks which were purchased/sold during the time period of February-March 2018, wherein various invoices of an amount of two lakh thirty-eight thousand and two-twenty rupees were raised.
Later, this was immediately informed to his venture and a second cheque of the exact amount was drawn, which also got dishonoured because the 'payment was stopped by the drawer.'
Ram Gopal Varma is highly recognized for his several films such as 'Company', 'Satya', 'Rangeela' and 'Sarkar' which brought him to the limelight.
