Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films to lock horns in 2021

Actress Deepika Padukone has been proving her mettle time and time again, signing ambitious and big budget movies. After seeing her stellar performance in Padmaavat, she will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s socially relevant and most awaited film Chhapaak. There has also been an exciting buzz about her playing Draupadi in the upcoming film ‘Mahabharat’. The film will incidentally release the same time as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s most ambitious project, ‘Baiju Bawra’.   

Deepika and SLB have an undying admiration and mutual respect for each other, which is proven with the kind of work they have showcased on screen in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. All of the three movies has paired the actress with husband Ranveer Singh. She has also co-produced Mahabharat and will also co-produce her upcoming sports film ’83. Only time will tell weather Sanjay or Deepika will hold the reins of the box-office in 2021.
