Diljit Dosanjh On Sardar Characters In Bollywood

Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has gained incredible recognition ever since he appeared on the big screen opposite Kareena Kapoor in Udta Punjab. The actor who is gearing up for his next release Arjun Patiala opposite Kriti Sanon, says that he would like to see some change in the way Sardars are portrayed in Bollywood time and again. He says although they are shown to be silly and funny most of the times, their intellectual side is hardly ever shown.

 

The Punjabi actor has said that the reason he chose to do Arjun Patiala was because it showed a different side of a Sardar and the film is essentially without an objective. In fact the film is only made for people to laugh and have a good time. The film also stars Varun Sharma and is all set to hit the cinema halls on 26th July 2019.
