‘Dostana 2’ Will Star Kartik Aaryan And Janhvi Kapoor

Producer Karan Johar has made an official announcement that his sequel to the 2008 romantic comedy movie Dostana, titled ‘Dostana 2’ will have Luka Chuppi actor Kartik Aaryan and Dhadak debutant Janhvi Kapoor in the lead. Since the original movie was a love story triangle, this one too will have a third actor who is yet to be finalized.

 

The movie will be marking the debut of a brand new director Collin D’Cunha and the hunt for a debutant male lead is on. This is the first time Kartik Aryan will be working in a Dharma production, whose last couple of movies like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise have given him a lot of fame and recognition. The actor will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh opposite Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar. Janhvi Kapoor will be seen next in Roohafza opposite Rajkummar Rao.
