Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali turns everything he touches into gold, in the cinematic sense. His last film Gangubai Kathiawadi is proof enough that he is not limited to any one genre in films. The brilliant director is now gearing up for his OTT debut with the upcoming Web series Heeramandi. Recently there was news that veteran actress Mumtaz has been roped in by the maker for a pivotal role.

Now we hear that Fardeen Khan will be seen in Heeramandi too. He will play a crucial part in the series. This is the first time he will be working with his mother in law Mumtaz in a project. Khan will be cast opposite Aditi Rao Hydari in the series, which also reportedly stars Madhuri Dixit Nene, Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Nimrat Kaur, and Sayani Gupta. Heeramandi will stream on Netflix in 2013 and is currently being shot.
