Hrithik Roshan Adopts Shah Rukh-Salman’s Profit-Sharing Formula For War 2

Hrithik Roshan is creating buzz with his upcoming film War 2, which is part of YRF’s spy universe and directed by Ayan Mukerji. Slated for release on August 14, 2025, the film marks Hrithik’s first big-screen appearance of the year, and it’s already being talked about for its massive budget and Hrithik's unique deal.
Hrithik to Earn ₹100 Crores from War 2 Using SRK-Salman Model
The actor has reportedly charged a fee of ₹50 crores for War 2. But what’s more interesting is that he has also entered into a profit-sharing agreement with the producers — a model similar to what Shah Rukh Khan did with Pathaan and Salman Khan did with Tiger 3. Industry insiders suggest that if the film performs well at the box office, Hrithik could take home ₹100 crores or more, combining his fixed fee and profit share.

This model isn’t new for Hrithik. A similar deal was made for the first War film in 2019, which turned out to be a blockbuster and earned him a huge payout. With War 2, Hrithik not only aims to deliver another box office hit but also sets a benchmark as one of the highest-paid actors in Bollywood.
