Producer Dinesh Vijay of Thamma showed the glimpse with a 20-minute footage of the latest movie to the media. The horror film star cast with Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna , Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal is deeply rooted with the Indian folklore, similar in the lines of Stree which began in 2018.
The Maddock head stated that they had built such a big universe and thought it would be great to reveal the first 20 minutes of the film said Vijan. It’s about the vampire romance with the culture so old such as Stree is from Chanderi, Bhediya is from Arunachal Pradesh, Muniya is from Konkan.
The tip of the iceberg
The producer stated, "Whatever you see in the trailer is the tip of the iceberg and we are really trying to hold back until the release of the film to maintain the suspense . He further stated, since they had built such a big universe, it was appropriate to show the first 20 minutes of the film .
Vijan said the reason he wanted to add the vampire romance to the Maddock "Horror verse", which began with 2018's "Stree", is because it is deeply rooted in Indian folklore.
"Our culture is quite old, 'Stree' is from Chanderi, 'Bhediya' is from Arunachal Pradesh, 'Munjya' is from Konkan and our culture has had betaals as we believe the spirits of the dead to appear to be living.
Vijan stated that they need to make unique films without a reference point and make it more audacious.
The film is to be directed by Aditya Sarpotdar who has stumbled upon different kind of world of vampires . The mysterious Tadaka is played by Rashmika while the terrifying vampire is played by Siddiqui.
