Despite OTT rumors, Mahavtar Narsimha storms past the ₹100 crore mark, emerging as the highest-grossing Indian animated film.

The animated mythological drama Mahavtar Narsimha, backed by Hombale Films, has crossed the 100 crore box office collection in just 12 days of its impressive theatrical run. The film garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences.

Box Office Surge Driven by Word-of-Mouth

According to sources from the industry, due to word of mouth, the film earned an outstanding ₹23.10 crore on Day 10 (Sunday) of its release. By the end of Day 12, the film's total collection stands at ₹106.50 crore — an unimaginable feat for a movie that collected just ₹1.6 crore on the first day of its release.

Official Statement on OTT Release

In a statement on Tuesday, the makers of the film also cleared rumors around its OTT release by writing, 'Stay away from rumours... We've been receiving a lot of buzz about Mahavatar Narsimha coming to OTT soon, but let us clarify: For now, our film is ONLY available in theatres across the whole wide world. We have not finalised any OTT platforms yet. Please believe only authentic updates shared from our official handles. Your trust keeps the Sanatani roar alive.'

The film is trending better than Ajay Devgn-starrer Son of Sardar 2 and Siddhant Chaturvedi's Dhadak 2.
