Merry Christmas Starring Katrina Kaif Postponed, Mumbai Set Demolished

Bollywood filmmaker Sriram Raghavan’s ambitious project ‘Merry Christmas’ was to bring together actress Katrina Kaif and South superstar Vijay Sethupathi for the first time. A huge set was even constructed in Mumbai’s Film City for the same. Katrina had begun reading sessions since this June too! Sadly, the film seems to have been postponed and reportedly the set has been pulled down, for now. 

Merry Christmas is a suspense thriller of 90 minutes duration. The film is produced by Ramesh Taurani. The film was to be wrapped up in a 30 day schedule, and release this April, however due to the second wave of the pandemic and Kaif testing postponed for the corona virus, the shoot was further delayed. It is unclear as to why the makers have decided to push the production of the film. For the film stands postponed. Katrina will next be seen in Tiger 3 opposite Salman Khan and in Phone Bhoot starring Ishaan Khatter.
