Based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war, the upcoming Bollywood film Pippa was announced some time back. The film will bring together the fresh pairing of Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli in the lead. As per sources the makers are all set to begin filming it in September this year. The film will have some intense action scenes and fewer restrictions will be feasible for the film to be shot well. The first schedule will begin in Mumbai. This depending on these conditions the film will go on floors. The reading sessions of the cast is expected to begin by mid August. 

 

Pippa will show Battle of Garibpur, which forms the crux of the story. This the actors will have to physically prep for a high octane battle and combat scene. This will be commencing by the first week of August. Pippa is Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, and is based on book titled The Burning Chaffees by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta.
