Mumbai Doctor Files Complaint Against Kabir Singh Makers

Ever since the movie Kabir Singh has released, it has been riddled with different kind of controversies due to its content. After Singer Sona Mohapatra, who criticized the Padmaavat actor Shahid Kapoor for choosing to play such a violent female bashing character in the film, a Mumbai-based doctor has filed a police complaint against the makers, calling it demeaning and showing doctors in a bad light.

 

The film revolves around a medical student Kabir Singh who treats women badly throughout the film, and portrays a doctor who drinks, smokes and does drugs excessively. The film is a remake of the Tamil hit Arjun Reddy and directed by the original director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also features actress Kiara Advani, Arjan Bajwa, Suresh Oberoi, Soham Majumdar, Nikita Dutta and Kamini Kaushal in pivotal roles.
