Nimrat Kaur To Share Screen Space With Amitabh Bachchan In 'Section 84'.

It has been a year since the film 'Dasvi' released on Disney+ Hotstar. The film was released on the platform on April 7 last year. Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam played the lead roles in this film along with Abhishek Bachchan. Now on completion of one year of the film, Nimrat has got a wonderful gift. She has made an entry in Ribhu Sengupta-directed Section 84, in which she is sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan. Nimrat shared this happiness through social media.

Nimrat wrote in an emotional post – Mumbai is not just a city of dreams, it is a city where dreams come true. Amidst the action and cutscenes, getting immortalized in Section 84 with Amitabh Bachchan is Mumbai's gift to a small town girl with big dreams. I am grateful to Ribhu Sengupta for giving me this opportunity. This will be the most challenging creative adventure of my life. Now sleepless nights are about to fly.

On completion of one year of Dasvi, Amitabh Bachchan sent Nimrat a bouquet along with a handwritten note. Dasvi is a social drama film directed by Tushar Jalota, in which Nimrat played the role of Abhishek's wife. After Abhishek's character Gangaram Chowdhary goes to jail, Bimala Devi's Nimrat gets power, but it doesn't happen as Gangaram expected. Nimrat's performance in this role was highly appreciated. Apart from Section 84, Nimrat's social thriller Happy Teacher's Day, directed by Mikhil Moosele, is also going to release. The producer of this film is Dinesh Vijan.

Section 84 is a courtroom thriller film. The story of the film is written by Ribhu himself. The star cast also includes Diana Penty and Abhishek Banerjee. Sharing this information through social media, Diana wrote – Can't tell how excited I am. Sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan was a dream come true. The film was announced by Amitabh Bachchan in March.
