OH My God 2 Goes On Floors With Pankaj Tripathi

The much awaited sequel to the 2012 hit OMG: Oh My God is here and its shooting will begin from today in Mumbai. The film’s lead Pankaj Tripathi will begin its shoot while Akshay Kumar who will reprise his role as Lord Krishna will join from this October. The social comedy also stars Yami Gautam as the leading lady who will also join Pankaj in the shoot. The film is directed by Amit Rai and produced by Ashwin Varde with Akshay Kumar himself. 

 

The script for Oh My God 2 has been under works over the past decade as the makers wanted the sequel to be perfect and really surprise the audiences, said a source. Paresh Rawal who was part of the first instalment will not be part of this one. Pankaj Tripathi has a huge fan following and was last seen in the Kriti Sanon starrer Mimi. Akshay will next be seen in Bachchan Pandey and Ram Setu.
