'Salaar' Considers Multiplex Boycott In South India Over Unfair Screen Distribution Practices

In the latest reports, it has been shared that the highly anticipated movie of the year, 'Salaar,' is considering cancelling its screening in major multiplex chains in South India. This list includes multiplexes like 'PVR, INOX, and Miraj.'
The reason behind this decision is said to be related to the unfair distribution of screens by the multiplexes in North India. As per the reports Salaar starring Telugu superstar Prabhas has faced unfair acts by PVR, INOX, and Miraj as they have been biased in the distribution of screens in North India. Allegedly, many multiplexes in the north side of the country are providing all the show slots for Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming release 'Dunki' over Salaar.
The decision taken by team Salaar has put pressure on multiplex chains to provide equal amounts of screens for both movies. The argument seems valid as the movie is a Pan-India movie and is in demand all over the country.
It wouldn't be beneficial for multiplex chains to not get content from Salaar as a big part of the revenue will be generated from South India via Salaar's screening. They can't afford to lose such an opportunity of making profits.
The Dunki vs Salaar war is getting intense day by day and it will get more interesting after the release of the movies.
