Ever since the makers have announced , fans have been eagerly waiting to see Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’. The excitement is around the film as the first poster went viral on the social media. The poster has Triptii Dimri lighting a cigarette for a wounded Prabhas. The poster instantly sparked off a massive fan following and the movie buffs were all out with their theories online for the poster that was released.

 

While fans await the release of the film, Spirit, they were treated to another Prabhas’s release, The Raja Saab which is slated for its release on Friday.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga revealed how he came up with the new iconic poster for Spirit and addressed the interpretations surrounding the picture that has gone viral. 

Sandeep has clarified that the fans assumed the glass vessel that Prabhas is holding is a drink but it is actually a bottle. He further stated, that’s a 1 liter bottle and looks like a glass in his hand. He said the fans have been making their own interpretations on the poster which they thought he had another glass on the railing and both husband wife in the poster are drinking ! With this Sandeep Reddy Vanga has hinted that Prabhas and Triptii were playing the role of husband and wife in the film. 

He said the idea of the poster was crazy and that is a scene from the film and he gave it a thought that he needed to show Prabhas differently after his Baahubali hence the scene with the wounded Prabhas getting his cigarette lit up. Vanga further said its one of his best cult poster. 



Tripti Dimri replaces Deepika in ‘Spirit’

 

Actress Deepika Padukone was initially cast opposite Prabhas in the film but she had exited the project after her demand for an 8-hour shift and her logistic concerns were not met by the makers. Sandeep Reddy Vanga then had taken a jibe at the actress on social media and announced the new heroine for his film Triptii Dimri.

 

Prabhas also stars in The Raja Saab yet to be released


Starring alongside of Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani , Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan who marks her Telugu film debut the film The Raja Saab is said to be made on a reported budget of Rs. 300 crore and is directed by Maruthi Dasari. That The Raja Saab has already minted Rs. 4 crores in advance sales in India alone ahead of its theatrical release .
