Sanjay Dutt on playing Ahmad Shah Abdali in Panipat

Who can forget the powerful character of Kancha Cheena, that Sanjay Dutt played in the 2012 movie Agneepath. The actor is all set to unleash his negative side again on screen in the upcoming Bollywood period drama Panipat. The sinister Mughal emperor Ahmad Shah Abdali will be brought alive by the Kalank actor and he said he enjoyed every moment of getting into his character. He also shared a character poster of himself on his social media account and wrote, “It was a wonderful experience to play such a strong & fierce character in #Panipat.”

 

Panipat, which talks about the biggest battles in Indian history, will mark director Ashutosh Gowariker’s comeback after a gap of almost 3 years. The film also stars Arjun Kapoor as Sadashivrao Bhau and Kriti Sanon as Parvatibai. The film is all set to hit the big screens on 6th December 2019.
