The much-awaited sequel of his 1993 cult classic Khalnayak sent waves of nostalgia across Bollywood and to the ardent fans of Sanjay Dutt.  The grand reveal was with a high-profile media event hosted by the banner, Three Dimension Motion Pictures in collaboration with Aspect Entertainment by Aksha Kamboj. 


Khalnayak 2, or the sequel has been kept tightly under wraps but was unveiled as the duo’s first ever joint venture instantly grabbed the attention. Aksha Kamboj shared the insight into her production, and its collaboration with the Sanjay Dutt, setting the stage for what went on to be the highlight of the evening. 


Khalnayak Returns finally showcased. 


As the much-anticipated teaser of Khalnayak Returns was unveiled, the room erupted with applause as Sanjay Dutt made his powerful presence combined with the nostalgic original Khalnayak theme music that struck the chord with both media and fans alike. 


The sequel, Khalnayak Returns promises to bring back the gritty intensity and the original cult favourite on the big screen while hinting its going to be more modern high stakes narrative for the sequel, which will further add weight to the project.  Jio Studio has come on board as the key backer with Jyoti Deshpande who was also present at the launch alongside Manyata Dutt. 


For Sanjay Dutt, its not just revisiting his character of Khalnayak, he’s reigniting an era that was much loved and will create new waves.
