Shahid Kapoor To Play Lead In Ali Abbas Zafar’s Next

Bollywood filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar is currently putting finishing touches to his Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer action film Tiger 3. He has reportedly been working on an interesting story for an upcoming thriller film as well. The director will be taking Kabir Singh actor Shahid Kapoor on board for the same. The latter meanwhile has been busy working on a web series with Raj & DK which will mark his digital debut along with South star Vijay Sethupathi. 

 

The yet to be titled thriller will be directed by Zafar himself and be produced under his banner Offside Entertainment. It is reportedly a remake of a foreign film and be shot in Abu Dhabi. The filmmaker has apparently been looking to adapt the film for the Indian audience sensibilities while Shahid wanted to do something commercial which is interesting and this script seemed perfect. The actor will next be seen in Jersey which is another remake of a South film.
