Shahid Kapoor’s Cocktail 2 Is A Much-anticipated Sequel .

Cocktail 2 starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most awaited sequels in Bollywood. The lead stars recently began the filming and it is believed the team has wrapped up their shoot in Europe and now are now heading to Delhi for the next schedule.

Cocktail 2 have wrapped up after their shooting across several European locations and are set to travel back to India and will continue the rest of the filming in Delhi.

Earlier the team were spotted filming in Italy in Sicily . The sequel is being produced by Dineh Vijay of Maddock Films and is written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Homi Adajania. While the plot is under wraps, the makers are ensuring the theatrical release will be in the latter half of the 2026.

Cocktail is a romantic comedy that was released in 2012 starring Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty in the lead roles. The first installment was a contemporary love triangle exploring the intersecting theme of romance and friendship. Cocktail was directed by Homi Adajania and the story was written by Imtiaz Ali and Sajid Ali. The film went on to be a massive box office hit and had received a widespread appreciation.

Shahid Kapoor was last seen in an action thriller.

Shahid Kapoor was last seen in the action thriller Deva which was directed by Rosshan Andrrews and was a remake of the director’s own film, Mumbai Police featuring Pooja Hegde as the female lead alongside Shahid Kapoor.

The Kabir Singh actor is soon to appear in another action thriller, ‘O Romeo’ directed by Vishal Bhardwaj . Starring alongside is Triptii Dimri, Tamannaah Bhatia, Nana Patekar , Randeep Hooda and Vikrant Massey in key roles.

Mean while Kriti Sanon working on the Cocktail 2 alongside of Shahid Kapoor will be seen on screen with a release of her film Tere Ishk Mein on the 28th of November 2025 , co-starring Dhanush .

Rashmika Mandanna who is also in the Cocktail 2 is to appear in the lead role in Telugu Film The Girlfriend which is slated for its release on November 7th 2025.
