Shefali Shah Comes Aboard Doctor G As Dr. Nandini

Talented Bollywood actress Shefali Shah has played some very powerful roles in films. Who can possibly forget her role in the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Waqt: A race against time or Dil Dhadakne Do starring Priyanka Chopra. Her recent web series Delhi Crime is among the top ten most watched series on Netflix and has won several awards. The actress has now been roped in for another interesting project Doctor G starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh. The details of Shefali’s role is kept under wraps except that she will be essaying the role of Dr. Nandini in the film. 

 

Doctor G is directed by debutant filmmaker Anubhuti Kashyap who said when they were casting for Doctor G, the only name that came up for this part was Shefali. We believe she brings gravitas and great energy to this role. We cannot wait to have her on set and make this movie even more special.” The film is a campus comedy and is produced by Junglee Pictures.
