Sidharth Malhotra Impresses As Captain Vikram Batra In Shershaah Trailer

Trailer of the upcoming Captain Vikram Batra biopic, Shershaah is finally out. The former was martyred in the Kargil war and was honored with the Param Vir Chakra posthumously. Bollywood young gun Sidharth Malhotra will be essaying the lead role showing the life, achievements and the final moments before he gave his life for the country. Sharing the trailer on his social media timeline Malhotra wrote, “Captain Vikram Batra reporting on duty! The wait is finally over, I'm honoured to present to you the legendary story of our Kargil War Hero.”

 

Shershaah also stars Kiara Advani as Dimple Cheema. She shared the trailer on her social media page and wrote, “His love and commitment is now yours to celebrate. Presenting the unforgettable true story of Captain Vikram Batra's (PVC) bravery and courage!” The film is directed by Vishnuvardhan Kulasekaran and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. It will release on 12th August 2021.
