Taapsee Pannu To Star In New Movie Thappad

After Kangana Ranaut, another actress who is diving head-on into women-oriented roles is Taapsee Pannu. The Manmarziyaan actress will be directed by Anubhav Sinha, who she last worked with in Mulk opposite Rishi Kapoor. The new movie which is titled ‘Thappad’ will see Tapsee as a middle-class girl.

 

Talking about his ambitious project, Anubhav Sinha said that this woman-oriented movie is another brave project which conveys the message of not typecasting women and seeing the world from their perspective.

 

The director is busy completing his shoot for Article 15 post which he will complete the script of Thappad and begin shooting the movie this August. The movie is slated to release on Women’s Day in 2020.
