Ramayana the epic trailer, and Indian cinema’s biggest production in its four minutes plus trailer has offered breathtaking glimpses into the mythological epic.  Its grand visuals have blended with emotional storytelling and depicting with larger-than-life action. 


The promotional asset primarily introduced Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, the official trailer has expanded its universe by unveiling several key characters from the epic. It is Yash as Ravana who commands attention with his powerful portrayal.  The intense action sequences and the delivery of a fierce and unforgettable interpretation of the iconic antagonist has made him one of the largest highlights in the trailer. 


Ranbir Kapoor as always with his grace impresses with the calmness, the divinity and is portrayed as Lord Rama. He has perfectly captured the elegance and the emotional depth in the character that he is playing.  The only amazing elements are Ravi Dubey, Arun Govil and Vivek Oberoi who have fu rther enhanced the scale of the epic. The only surprise is the absence of Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman whose first look that the fans were waiting for. 


The visuals are stunning with the massive battle sequences. 


Ramayana trailer has been shown in a cinematic spectacle especially in the 3D stunning VFX. The massive battle sequences and the breathtaking Airavata elevates the viewing experience.  For some viewers, the scale may have completely surpassed the benchmark created by Baahubali, but overall, the presentation of the epic is immensely impressive. 


Ramayana is produced by Namit Malhotra, the music is by A R Rahman and Hans Zimmir. Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol and Ravi Dubey.  The first part of the release is on Diwali this year and the second instalment is scheduled for Diwali of 2027 setting its stage for one of the most ambitious franchises of the Indian cinema.
