Two big ticket and big star films namely Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan starring Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar respectively released last weekend. Both their performances have not been as expected by theatre owners and distributors. Thus they have taken the decision of canceling many of the shows of these 2 films and re-releasing the much loved and in demand family comedy-drama Jug Jugg Jeeyo. 

Jug Jugg Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor has done exceptionally well and distributors are saving themselves from further losses due to the Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar starrer by releasing this comedy film once again in selected PVR cinemas. 

Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha has reduced 1300 shows while Akshay Kumar-Bhumi Pednekar starrer Raksha Bandhan has reduced 1000 shows. The former is an Advait Chandan directorial while the latter by Aanand L Rai directorial.
