Main Vaapas Aaunga coming up, is yet another cinematic treat by Imtiaz Ali and this time he brings in Vedang Raina as the new hero. A compelling romantic story as the film continues to ignite the excitement among the audience. The makers of Main Vaapas Aaunga have unveiled the song from the film called Maskara curated by the finest A.R. Rahman and Irshad Kamil.


Imtiaz Ali, A.R. Rahman and Irshad Kamil and Vedang Raina shared the song Mascara as they team up to the incredibly through the music. The latest song released features the lead actors Vedang Raina and Sharvari Wagh. Their on-screen chemistry is being highly praised. 


About the song Mascara from the film Main Vaapas Aaunga  


The film is scheduled to hit cinema theatres on June 12th 2026. The song track that follows the film with the first single, ‘Kya Kamaal Hai’ is in collaboration between Rahman and Diljit Dosanjh that was released earlier in mid-April. Mascara is composed by legendary A. R. Rahman with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil.  Vocals performed by Vedang Raina and Nilanjana Ghosh.


The music video which runs approximately for 3 minutes 34 seconds is described typically as a mischievous romance that captures the innocence of first love.


The love story theme is set against the backdrop of the Partition era as the film explores deeply an emotional theme of Love, Longingness and Separation is truly an engaging love story.  The movie stars Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari Wagh and Vedang Raina in the pivotal roles.
