Veteran actor Dinyar Tirandas passed away in Mumbai, leaving the entertainment industry and his fans deeply saddened. The news of his demise surfaced on the internet and social media on Thursday and quickly the condolences outpoured from across the film and television fraternity. 


The update of the actor’s passing away was first shared on Facebook by a group, ‘Parsi Zoroastrians Worldwide’. ‘The 90’s India’ also confirmed the news on Instagram with an emotional note mentioning the veteran actor’s journey to heavenly abode, while it shared the details of the final rites.

Dinyar Tirandaz had made his acting debut in 1984 in the film Duniya and later became a household name through his familiar face on the television through popular shows like Nukkad, Byomkesh Bakshi. However, he got famous and most adorable for his humorous role as Mr. Keki Daruwala in Zabaan Sambhalke that made him a household name and earned him a recognition that has lasted for life time among the audience. 




Apart from television industry. Dinyar Tirandaz has appeared in several Bollywood films such as Hello Brother, Kya Kehna, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Chalte Chalte, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Albela.  He appeared in the Gujarati family drama, Wass… Up! Zindagi.
