Deb Mukherjee, who was one of the veteran and legendary filmmaker-actors, recently bid farewell to the world at the age of eighty-three years. He was one of the key members of the prosperous Mukherjee family, as his family had a huge contribution to the cinema, as his father, Sasadhar Mukherjee, was also a versatile filmmaker, and his son Deb was a very strong devotee of Goddess Durga because he had promoted the Durga Puja's celebrations in North Bombay.


Deb Mukherjee had started his career with Sambandh and then delivered various films such as Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Baton Baton Mein, and Kaminey. Deb Mukherjee was eighty-three years old, and reports suggest that he took his last breath due to some age-related diseases because he wasn't quite well for the past six months.


As per a report by Times Now, his last rites would be held at Pawan Hans Crematorium, which is located in Juhu, Mumbai. Various Bollywood stars such as Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, and many other celebrities paid their tributes to Deb Mukherjee, who was also the beloved father of Ayan Mukherjee.
