Actor Pradeep Singh Rawat best known for his unforgettable performances in films like Lagaan, Sarfarosh, Agneepath and Ghajini, the actor who shared the screen space with this veteran actor in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Oscar nominated classic Lagaan in 2001 confirmed the heartbreaking news through his emotional tribute on the social media.

Pradeep Rawat performed across in multiple languages. His acting journey spanned over four decades, beginning his memorable portrayal of Ashwatthama in B.R. Chopra’s iconic epic Mahabharat. He later went on to establish himself as one of the most formidable characters of India cinema as also in the role of villains that he stood out and is remembered for his role in Agneepath in 1990, Sarfarosh in 1999 and in Lagaan in 2001. 


Pradeep Rawat has achieved nationwide fame with his menacing dual title role in 2005 Tamil blockbuster Ghajini.  A performance that went on to make him an iconic villain portrayed actor. He reprised the character opposite actor Aamir Khan in the 2008 Hindi adaptation which further cemented his legacy in the films as his career.
