Veteran Actress Zeenat Aman Joins The Cast Of Panipat

Ashutosh Gowariker’s directed upcoming historical drama, titled Panipat, will be based on the third conflict of Panipat, which happened on 14th January 1761. The lead roles will be played by Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt. Now veteran actress Zeenat Aman has also joined the cast for a cameo, where she will be playing the role of Sakina Begum.

 

Director Ashutosh Gowariker and actress Zeenat Aman, incidentally worked together in 1989, in the movie Gawaahi, featuring Shekhar Kapur, Vikram Gokhale and Tanuja. The director is thrilled to work with the ‘Strings of Passion’ actress once again and she will be joining them on set next week. The schedule of Panipat began in December last year. The movie is scheduled to release by end of this year.
