Vidya Balan, Shefali Shah Tell A Gripping Tale In Jalsa, Teaser Out

Bollywood actresses Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah have always portrayed powerful roles with incredible screen presence. The duo are all set to take the audiences on another gripping journey together in the upcoming movie Jalsa. The makers have unveiled it’s official teaser and it promises a story that will keep you on the edge of your seats. Balan is shown to play the role of a journalist who has the tough job of either revealing a news or hiding it. 

The official caption of Jalsa’s teaser reads, “A hit and run of an 18-year-old girl becomes the hub of a wheel that sets into motion many a spoke - a journalist, a raging mother, a cop and a system all caught in an ethical dilemma. Questions raised only to realize that the truth is rarely pure and never simple.” Sharing the video on her social media page Vidya wrote, “Get ready to uncover a story within a story. Jalsa on Prime on 18th March. Teaser out now.” 

Jalsa also stars Rohini Hattangadi, Surya Kasibhatla, Manav Kaul, Kashish Rizwan, Shafeen Patel, Vidhatri Bandi, Iqbal Khan, Ghanshyam Lalsa, Shrikant Mohan Yadav, and Junaid Khan. It is directed by Suresh Triveni, and produced by Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar of T-Series, Vikram Malhotra & Shikhaa Sharma of Abundantia Entertainment and Suresh Triveni. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 18th March 2022.
